Μιας και ξυνόμαστε αυτες τις μερες ας κανουμε και καμια δουλεια να περάσει η ώρα.

Εδω και καμια βδομαδα το site εβγαζε άσπρη οθόνη, “blank page” που λενε στο χωριο μου. Ψάχνοντας να βρω τι παιζει αρκετοι λεγανε οτι παιζει πρόβλημα με τα plugin. Ας τι δούμε τι δουλεψε.

If you can’t access your admin panel, you can deactivate the plugins through your database management panel -PhpMyAdmin. If you are not familiar with PhpMyAdmin, you need to consult your web developer first.

To access your PhpMyAdmin panel, you need to log in to your Toolkit first. In your Toolkit, click MySQL admin on the My Services menu, and then click the Login button. It will bring up another window with your database tables. Click the SQL tab and run the following query:

SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugins’

This query will display your current plugin settings. You can save the option_value in a txt file for backup purpose. Once you’ve saved the option_value, run the query below. It will deactivate all of the active plugins in your WordPress.

UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ” WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugins’

404 Errors after clicking WordPress links

This is a common issue when a blogs rewrite rules have been altered. You will notice this when you are clicking links throughout the blog, and you get a ‘404’ error.

Usually resetting the permalinks will solve this problem.

1. Login to the WordPress Dashboard
2. Click of Settings on the menu on the left hand side.
3. Click on Permanlinks under Settings.
4. Remember which setting it is set on now.  (If you are using a custom structure, copy or save the custom structure somewhere.)
5. Select Default
6. Click on Save Changes
7. Change it back to the setting it was on before you selected Default. (Put the custom structure back if you had one.)
8. Click Save Changes

This will reset the permalinks and many times this will fix the issue.

Αυτά για σημερα, το παλευω να βγάλω άκρη και με το plugin του Facebook αλλα δεν βλεπω φως στο τουνελ, προς το παρόν δουλευουν μονο τα like buttons…
